You're busy. We know. When you're short on time but really want to look 'put together', forget about trying to match up a top, bottom, layer, shoes, and all the accessories. Instead, just choose one piece that will be the main focus of your entire outfit and go with very basic staples/solids for everything else.

If you wear patterns, great! Choose a printed piece for your statement piece like our Floral Leaf Chic Kimono.

The next step is choose the solid base to wear under your statement layer. The simplest option is a solid dress - I like to think of dresses as "one and done". No need to match a top to a bottom when it comes to dresses. If you're not a fan of dresses, that's okay. You can opt for a solid shirt and for your bottoms, go with jeans, leggings, or a skirt. Maintain the focus on that printed layering piece by keeping it as simple as possible with your base pieces - think solid and monochromatic for those base pieces.

Once you've got your statement layering piece and the base chosen, the rest is easy! Add coordinating accessories like a hair clip, necklace, bracelet, bag, and shoes.
When time is limited, don't fuss with the extras...just grab your favorites like that necklace you know goes with just about everything.
Our Filigree Clover Tassel Pendant Necklace & Earring Set is one of my personal favorites for this reason. It's a mixed metal set combining both silver and gold in one piece so coordinating with other jewelry is super easy. I like to keep a few pieces like this on hand for when I'm in a hurry and just need to grab something and go.
Next time you are short on time, your outfit can still look fabulous if you keep these simple tips in mind. Grab that one printed statement layering piece, simple solid base piece for underneath, and then accessorize with your neutral jewelry favorites and shoes. You've got this, fashionista! ;)
xoxo Rebecca
