Some say the bohemian "boho" style is a fashion trend. For others, it is much more...it is a lifestyle - a way of being. In this article, we will explore the boho style so you can decide if the boho style is something you'd like to explore for yourself. First off, let's get right to it...what is "The Bohemian Style"? For your bottoms, a maxi skirt or wide leg pants would work well or opt for a dress. Keep your focus on lighter fabrics that have movement - think whimsical and carefree as you peruse your closet. Also, if you have a tank top or cami, that is ideal for layering underneath a vest or cardigan because as we discussed, layering is key when creating your boho outfit.

Once you have your clothing pieces selected, it's time to choose some jewelry and other accessories. The boho style tends to lean toward long earrings with tassels or feathers. Necklaces also tend to be long pendants. Wrap and stack bracelets are a great option and mixing metals and materials is perfectly acceptable, if not encouraged to achieve your new look. The boho vibe focuses on layering so don't be afraid to wear multiple necklaces and bracelets. And if you're feeling comfortable, add a belt or scarf to complete your look.
